CANCELLATION POLICY – Leah Medutis NailsBy booking an appointment with Leah Medutis Nails, you agree to the following policies and terms. These policies ensure a seamless experience for all clients and respect for time and resources.
BOOKING FEES
A non-refundable booking fee of $20 is required to secure your appointment. This amount will be applied to your total service price, with the balance due on the day of your appointment.
If you cancel within 12 hours of your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited.
Special circumstances will be considered at our discretion.
NO SHOWS, CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
No-shows or failure to notify us of your unavailability will result in a full charge of the service price, which must be paid before booking any future appointments.
Please allow as much time as possible if cancelling or rescheduling appointments.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the service cost or result in forfeiture of the booking fee unless the slot can be filled
CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION
Cancellations must be communicated via Instagram DM or text message to the phone number provided (not the automated confirmation text).
PUNCTUALITY
Arrive on time. Please note that there is street metered street parking on Kedron Brook Road, however the surrounding residential streets are free. Please allow enough time before your appointment to find a park.
A 10 minute grace period is allowed. After this, the appointment will be cancelled, and the full service price will be charged.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment, with the full service price still applicable.
GUEST POLICY
No guests or children are permitted during your appointment.
SICKNESS POLICY
Please reschedule if you’re unwell. Adequate notice is required to avoid cancellation fees.
Cancellation fees will still apply if insufficient notice is given, even due to illness.
PRICE INCREASES
By booking, you acknowledge that service prices may increase periodically.
REPAIRS AND SERVICE SATISFACTION
No refunds will be issued. Please communicate any concerns during your service to allow for immediate adjustments.
Complimentary repairs are available within 4 days of your appointment.
AFTERCARE
To ensure your nails last as long as possible, please follow these aftercare guidelines:
Daily Care: Oil your cuticles daily to maintain hydration and promote nail health.
Protection: Wear gloves when coming into contact with excessive water or chemicals to prevent damage or lifting.
Avoid Misuse: Do not use your nails as tools, chew them, or pick/fidget with them. These actions can cause lifting, allowing moisture to become trapped, which may lead to infections, permanent damage, or loss of enhancements.
Normal Wear and Tear: Slight chipping or wear is normal over time due to everyday use.
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
Everyday wear and tear.
Picking, fidgeting, or carelessness.
Infections or fungus resulting from trapped moisture due to lifting.
Gaps between enhancements and the natural nail from improper care.
Regular refills and proper maintenance are key to keeping your nails in excellent condition.
REACTIONS/ALLERGIES
In rare cases, allergic reactions or contact dermatitis may occur as a result of the products used during your service. If you experience any reaction, please:
Notify Leah Medutis Nails immediately.
Consult a GP if necessary (at your own expense).
By proceeding with your service without requesting a patch test (available upon request), you acknowledge that you assume responsibility for any allergic reactions that may occur.
Leah Medutis Nails is not liable for any adverse reactions.
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, but it’s important to understand these risks before your appointment.
PAYMENTS
Payments can be made via cash or EFTPOS
All services are non-refundable.
